This section will give you the answers to some of the questions we've been asked by other participants, but if you want to ask us any questions directly, please don't hesitate to contact us

Why has the GAP PROGRAMME been launched?

We have launched this initiative with the help of the Ministry of Industry, Tourism and Commerce because we believe that society needs to change, adopting sustainable habits that take the equilibrium of our planet into consideration. We have to stop consuming resources without considering the effect our wastefulness will have in the future. A modern society must also have habits that make it possible to balance improvements to our quality of life with respect for the environment, social justice and solidarity. In all the countries where the GAP PROGRAMME has been run, thousands of homes are working to improve the planet.

Is the GAP programme difficult to follow and complete?

In a word, no! You will be given some very simple tips to use in the home. For example, did you know that leaving your television in stand-by mode accounts for 10% of all the electricity it uses? Turning the button off will achieve the following: savings on your electricity bills, your TV will last longer, reduce electricity consumption, reduced emissions from thermal power plants, etc. A simple act which, if copied in thousands of homes, will have a very significant impact.

How long will it take me?

It won't take you too long. We'll ask you to fill in a short questionnaire that will take you no longer than five minutes to complete. Following the six suggestions each month won't take you long.

What will happen when I complete the GAP PROGRAMME?

We'll send you a certificate which you can download from your personal page.

What will happen if I start the GAP programme but I don't finish it?

We would really like you to complete the programme. If you don't want to do any of the  actions, that's fine. But as you know, a little bit of an effort is necessary if you want to change.

How can I find out about the results?

You'll have a personal page and we've designed some very interesting graphs which will enable you to compare your efforts with those made in other homes. We will also publish the overall results of the project in the media, as well as on our website.
